Here Comes Santa Claus!

Jack had is first encounter with Santa last week. We were nervous at how he would react, but he just looked up at him with the sweetest face ever. You could see in Santa's eyes that Jack was the cutest baby he ever layed eyes on! He had a smile across his face as he looked back at Jack. No bad behavior to report to Santa about this wonderful gift this year!! Happy Holidays.

New Friends

As Jack is getting older, he is starting to notice the other baby in our family. Jack and Bella are becomind new found friends and I think this is only the beginning of a life long friendship.

Vote for Change!

As I voted this morning I looked at my chosen candidates name and was overwhelmed with emotion. I had chills run down my arms and tears in my eyes. I thought about my new baby boy and how I wanted this world to be a better place for him. I hope the change we need makes it to the big white house!

The Pumpkin Patch!

This past Sunday we enjoyed a beautiful day at the pumpkin patch with family. When we arrived we took a hayride to the petting zoo. Although Jack didn't quite know what was going on, Charley's niece Abby and nephew Grant enjoyed themselves. From there we went to Casper's Castle. I was worried that Jack might get nervous going through his first haunted house, but he was a brave little boy and smiled at many of the character's inside. After that it was face painting, corn maze, and at last the search for the great pumpkin. We picked the perfect little pumpkin for Jack. It was the cutest one in the patch. All in all it was a wonderful day and a great way to start off the holiday's!

Oyster Festival

Jack attended his first Oyster festival this past Saturday. He was great! I think the scent of oysters baking, frying, and being grilled kept him fast asleep so Charley and I could enjoy a few. We were joined by Abby and Erin which made the event even better.
